Applied to lpn program

Is anyone attending orange ulster boces nursing program in September. I started the process had my interview and am now waiting to see if I will be accepted. So many people applied I hope I get accepted very nervous. Any response is greatly appreciated

Yesi am actually going to be attending ouboces in September as well! When did you have your interview? Did you find out yet?

I had my interview 2 weeks ago and they said we should find out the first week in august. Now I'm considering waiting until next year because I don't know if I will be able to come up with the $1000 plus for deposit, books and uniform before class starts. I have had recent financial change that has affected my plans. I was really hoping to start this year but I feel like I will be less stressed if I just wait and have everything ready for next year. The deposit was I think 750 and books I'm not sure, have you applied for financial aid or any programs that can help you? Are you applied for part time or full time?...i hope everything works out for you!

I applied for full time. The deposit is 750 and books are about 200, uniforms 200, background check 150. I will also have to be CPR certified again because my certification expired and it wasn't American heart association health care provider. There is a program through orangeworks that can help but you have to be unemployed. I work full time right now and can't stop. My husband was recently laid off and is only working part time. I really want to start this September but I don't think it will be possible. I thinking am going to just wait until sept. 2012 so that I can get enough money and be better prepared.

Megw214 glad your going to be there too! You're F/T or P/T program?

I was actually searching these boards for a help on the homework that's due the first day. One of the questions doesn't make sense to me. If either of you are attending and got your books yet let me know! Not looking for an answer but more of a clarification on one of the assignments.

Omg I am so happy I found someone that is going, I am going full time as well!!!!!! Do you have Facebook so it's easier to talk?I cannot tell you how excited I am! I'm sure you feel the same, I have my books too! Did you get your CPR thing yet?
