I just called The Red Cross and they said they are no longer offering the Phlebotomy course. Does anyone know of any others? I am located in Orange County, NY. My local SUNY school is no longer offering it either I am close to Northern NJ as well.

Our teacher just has us list: The med name/generic name Dosage Side Effects Drug to drug interaction Nursing Considerations Simple and to the point

It is hard. I am currently doing an LPN course in NY. Needs dedication and time spent. I am 42 with two kids and I work part time. I know I can do it, as can you but you have to be realistic if you have the time to put in. I have not seen or think there would be any LPN online courses. Good luck!

I'm in NY and just ordered mine for the fall (well next week lol). We have to wear Navy Cherokee scrubs in classroom and white scrubs for clinicals w/white lab coat. With the school patch sewn on the sleeve. White shoes, NO clogs. I don't like the elastic waist pants but oh well.

Hi! I am attending F/T this September also to BOCES! I am so excited I was accepted. Kchrisi - What did you decide to do? Megw214 glad your going to be there too! You're F/T or P/T program? I was actually searching these boards for a help on the homework that's due the first day. One of the questions doesn't make sense to me. If either of you are attending and got your books yet let me know! Not looking for an answer but more of a clarification on one of the assignments. Thanks!
