Applications--Type to not to Type?

Hey guys!!

So finally feel comforable (almost with the essays), and now trying to type up application that I've had written out almost for forever. Unfortunately, typewriter's not working, there is NO BUSINESS in the city that does typing services anymore, and even if I could, not sure some things would fit in the boxes (Classses, Schools, You know what I mean).

So I'm trying to find a way to use my computer to fill in the application that I downloaded from the website. So far, the only thing that lets you do ANYTHING is Adobe. However, it doesn't let you do much (IE, type in spaces--you can only type on the same line as something that is there).

So I guess what I'm asking is:

1. Does anyone know what the heck I'm talking about with Adobe and how to do this, or any other program I can get for this?

2. What did you guys do with your application? Typed or Written? to me, it looks more professional, and shows the amount of work I've put into it. So this is driving me crazy!

Thanks so much for ANY help or feedback guys!! :balloons:

Hi Peachy,

For PDF's, you can print neatly and for the longer parts, say "see attached" and attach typed (PC) written responses. Or you can select the entire application under the "text" capture and paste it into a Word doc. But you may lose the formatting. So that's why the print neatly option may be better. Hope that helps.

OMG, that's a GREAT way of looking at it!!! You have saved my sanity, girlie!! I love Peaches, and now I love you too!!

Fun2Care, that's true!! About it possibly not getting there tomorrow!! Are they a school that also either calls you or that you can callthem after tomorrow?? I've followed you and your site ever since I joined this board, and there's not a shadow of doubt in my mind that your intelligence, motivation and generosity won't pay off!! :nurse:

Thanks again guys!! Have a great weekend!:bowpur

yes, I am a smilie whore sometimes...

Hey what are neighbors for? I am in Texas, and just noticed, you are from Louisiana, my heart goes out to the people in Louisiana.....and all the other places that were affected by the terrible hurricanes.

I am glad that I was able to help you feel better.

Take care and keep in touch.

They don't call, that I know of. I could possibly call them after tomorrow, but I'll just wait. (Don't want to ruin the suspense, and excitement of the letter.) :roll

Thanks so much for your encouragement....actually everyone's on this board. It really makes me feel so much better! :)

you too!!
