If it's a H.S diploma they should accept it most likely, just because you didn't attend an actual school for 4 solid years doesn't mean anything. u have the diploma, thats all that matters. Good Luck!

You will need to earn excellent grades in college classes such as English composition, speech, anatomy & physiology, growth & development, psychology, nutrition, and microbiology if you want to apply to an RN program. You should enroll in these classes at your local community college, and apply to a nursing program once you have completed them all.
If you don't want to take these classes at the moment, then you can go to nursing school (LVN) at a private vocational college. These types of schools are very expensive, but they don't look closely at your high school diploma. Good luck!

I went to a CC and I also did not finish HS. I got my GED and I NEVER had anyone ask me about it to get into NS. I had to give a copy of my certificate to the college to get into regular classes but for my nursing classes I have nevre given them a copy, discussed it with them or had anyone ask. As long as the college accepts the certificate you should not have any problems. BTW I grad in one week with HONORS so not finishig HS has NO MERIT on what you can accomplish in college! GOOD LUCK!

Excellent advice, and darn near exactly what I was going to say (except I would have misspelled vocational!)
