Anyone know about this programs reputation?

http://www.college-net.com/index.asp

Has anyone ever done this online program or heard of it? I'm looking to do my BSN and want to do as much online as possible. Ideas? I graduate from LPN school on Jan 7th and want to study while I work.

Thanks

There are lots of threads here about The College Network (TCN). Please take a look at them before you sign a contract with TCN!! They are not a school, they are a publishing company that sells you study materials to help you get through Excelsior College or the ISU on-line program, either of which you can do on your own without paying a "middleman" like TCN.

The College Network is not an online LPN-to-BSN program. The College Network is nothing more than a publishing company engaged in the business of selling study materials that eventually lead to a nursing degree from ISU (Indiana State). Therefore, ISU is the school you're really dealing with.

Most people are able to earn their LPN-to-BSN bridge program nursing degree from ISU without ever going through expensive publishing companies such as the College Network. In addition, people have attempted to get out of contracts drawn by TCN, and all were unsuccessful.

Buyer beware. . .

Oh wow thanks so much! I was a little suspicious when they called me about 1 minute after I filled in the form online and made an immediate appointment to send a "recruiter" to my home the next day! I canceled my appointment because I had other things to do, and now reading your posts am glad I did! Thanks guys!

It was a scam with College Network!!! Do not sign with them, I tried to take there test, never passed. So I enrolled here in Calif with WCU, just graduated from RN school Nov 09, Passed my Boards on 18th for My RN. I myself could not get out of the contract, lost $5000.00 with College Network!!!! RUN!!!!
