Just do a search on this forum, and you will find many responses. They are actually a national company.

They are one of the bigger travel compines but, also one of the lower pay ones I work with a nurse who has been with them for years. We are both travel nurse on the same unit and I make $10.00 more an hour then she. Sad that they take more of the profit them most

I've been a traveler for about 13 years....took a contract with American Mobil in 1994....would not work with them again.....they are not there for their nurses, pay is marginal, they attempted to put me up in low income housing etc etc etc.

I have worked with StarMed (now Intellistaf) and they were pretty decent.

I would never ever work for them.

They said a clinical nurse would be avail. 24x7 but when I had an urgent situation they were not there for me.

I felt they were not honest and even though they have been sued and lost

according to a lawyer I spoke with they are still not in compliance with state law.

I once was offered 8.00 less per hour than another company but the recruiter was nice plus I don't like shared housing and they wanted 250 per month for a private place.

Since AMH works with other companies, such as Nurses RX and O'Gredy Payton, is their pay going to be the same all around? Or is it just AMH that is paying less?

I just ended a contract with American Mobile. I would NOT travel with them again nor would I recommend them to anyone. My recruiter did what she wanted, not what I asked her to do.

Based on the circumstances I was encountering at my hospital, I chose to cancel my contract. I have not heard from my recruiter since (and that was a month ago.) We left it as she was supposed to be finding me another job.
