So I am in the KS monitoring program I was wondering if anyone knows if when you get selected for testing and on affinity it says "A 763..." (cant remember the numbers right this moment) what exactly is it testing for? Is it an etg test or just a simple urine drug screen? I called labcorp which is who does the tests and the lady said she didn't know. Any help out there? I want to be sure I know exactly what I am being tested for and what type of test it is.

KNAP doesn't routinely test for etg. If you get a dilute, they will do a peth test. I had also heard from my testing place that they might start doing random peth tests but that was several months ago and I haven't had a random peth yet.
Ok...do you know how I can find out what all those tests are on the chain of custody form by chance? I've only ever had to do the "A" test wondering how they all differ

I was in a monitoring with Affinity and test panel A was just there standard panel, ETOH, not etg or perhaps. I had dilutes so they starting testing with Panel H, and this includes etg. Hope this helps.
No. :/ If you Google the exact test, sometimes you can find the info through people speculating on other message boards lol. I've been in KNAP for a little over 2.5 years and have never had anything other than A panel and a peth for a dilute, fwiw.
Yes, that does help. Thank you very much!

Most speculation is that the standard testing is something like the 12-panel test for most common things. I suppose anything else would depend on why you are there (alcohol, dilutes, something not so common, or just because they "randomly" feel like testing for something bizarre and charging you the other arm and leg for.) I had a hard time finding the exact numbers because I can see where they would not want you to know what they are testing for. I looked, just out of curiosity.
Just FYI, Peth and Etg have a interesting rate of low specificity and were slipped into practice via a loophole in FDA approval (google "laboratory approved testing" and "etg peth reliabilty" you will learn more than you ever wanted to know about this and other "junk science" used by these programs to justify these.

I just recieved papers for knap..im scared to start process it seems like a lot to do with a lot of money attached..Just trying to figure out in the urine test..it test for drugs and alcohol correct? Does it tell you what drugs they are testing? Also I thought alocohol doesnt stay in your system for very long? How is this able to be in your urine still? Or will they only be able to see alocohol if you have blood test done?
When you take these test is it always just a normal ua unless you are dilute? Has anyone of you had to do hair, nail or blood test?

I have been out of KNAP for over 2 years now but my earlier posts in this thread are still my experience.
Urine Etg can detect alcohol theoretically for several days after drinking but KNAP did not do Etg testing when I was in it. (From the deep digging I did one day, I think they were sued over a false positive back in the early 2000s.) I had 2 Peth tests in 3 years. One after a dilute and a random as I was closing in on graduating (lol) from the program.
If you're near Mission, I highly recommend signing up to test with Accu-Screen. Wonderful folks who know what they are doing and also never make you feel like crap for why you are there.
What is a peth test? And how long does that show traces of alocohol in your system

Blood test. It shows drinking for 3 to 4 weeks after you drank, sometimes more if you were hitting it heavy. I knew a couple of people who tried to drink while in KNAP, never knew anyone who did that successfully fwiw.
Thank you s much!! One more question lol how often are these test randomly selected were you doing 1 a month? 2? These test are expensive and this is a lot of money tied up!!
