Accepted!!

Got my acceptance letter for the LPN/EMT to RN bridge program from Hutchinson CC in KS!! Very excited to be going back. I also got my CNA and LPN through this school and have been very happy with it. Now to figure out how to juggle FT work and FT school for the next year. Kinda intimidated! But it'll be so worth it. :)

    @JenSande Thank you! If I remember correctly, I scored at 37.5. Not 100% sure without digging for the rubric and my transcripts, but I believe it was close.

    @Dylan Wildman dang! Way to rock it. I was below that so who knows. Someone else mentioned they got WJ email stating they were waitlisted. Haven’t had a chance to check my email, but suppose I should. Thanks for the information and congrats again!

    I got a 34.5, if I remember correctly on the rubric. I received the letter on 10/15 and I live in Georgia. Didn't pay attention when it was postmarked. There may still be a chance. I would imagine they'd let people know either way.

    What are the chances of getting in the online bridge program through Hutchinson community college after receiving a letter that you’ve been put on a wait list?

    Not good...I know a guy that was number two on the waitlist and never got called up.  Anything I’ve read and heard has said that people take their spots if given because it’s so hard to get in.  I do know that you can email or call in and they will give you the number of your position on the list.

    NurseRae83 I just opened her email unfortunately I’m at spot 50 she said there were 173 applicants.  Completely bummed ?

    Oh I’m so sorry!! It’s so frustrating when we have worked so hard to get here! If I don’t get in, I’m going to apply to more programs next year - I’ll be in a better position to handle an in person program if needed. But I REALLY want Hutch’s program.

    Hopefully you can get in this time around. Hutchinson is really compatible with my schedule I work 12 hour night shifts.

    on the Rubric I had a 33 out of the 44 wonder if I’ll have to retake the Kaplan once again when I reapply.
