Acceptance to NVCC Fall 2011 Program!!!

LOL I was one of those 8 guest who kept checking everyone's posts to see if anyone has heard any news yet! So I signed up to join the conversation . All this waiting is killing me!!! My husband is starting to think Im crazy because I have been checking blackboard like 20 times a day!

I noticed the AAS in Nursing thing, too, on my degree progress report. And like you all, I can't remember if it was there before or not! AAHHHH...lol

According to the letter, info on the background check/drug test is supposed to be attached, but it's not in my packet. Anyone else notice this?

Yes, I noticed there was nothing about the drug test/background check too. I am thinking of including this in my reply to say I will be at orientation. How about you? I am thinking the more that mention it the better chance we'll have on finding out about it. There is something about a packet being mailed out, but I am thinking that's just for the folks who don't have BlackBoard access. Perhaps it'll be explained when the module is added to our organizations?

Sleepless, I'll definitely mention it in my RSVP email. I'd rather get it all done and out of the way. I meant to say good luck to everyone earlier--I was too full of nervous energy to remember! I hope everyone gets in...the wait is agonizing considering we've all pretty much been waiting since we started our prereq's.

Hey guys! I'm in!!!! The ONE day I didn't jump the mailman for the mail. It figures! :) I also didn't get anything about a background check either... I guess I'll call the campus on Monday and see what they recommend. Perhaps they can just send instructions via email, as it looks like most people didn't receive them. Congrats everyone! I guess we'll get to meet each other in person now!

Congrats to all of you. I just started to take pre-reqs so it's going to take a while before I apply. I was aiming for Fall 2012 but will have to postpone after going for BIO141, 142, micro via NAS route because I don't have a year of college chemistry. It's a good motivator to read this thread.
