Acceptance to NVCC Fall 2011 Program!!!

Hey Guys,

For Northern Virginia Community College nursing programs!!! I know it's early but whenever we do find out whether or not we get accpeted everybody should post to this thread and their stats a.k.a. G.P.A., Teas Scores etc if you would like!!! I pray I get into traditional and everyone else does too lol! I look forward to seeing what happens!

I also applied to NVCC's Traditional Nursing Program (as well as the Momentum 2+1 Program) and am in the same boat waiting... This is also the third time I've tried to post, so my apologies if they all post at once!!!

Here are my stats...

Overall TEAS Score: 94.3%

Reading: 97.5%

Math: 100.0%

English: 85.5%

Plan GPA (for my A.S. General Studies) 3.72

Cumulative GPA: 3.255

Prerequisites GPA: 4.0 (SDV101, ENG111, NAS161, NAS162)

You guys are a riot! I haven't heard anything yet either, but I've been checking this site religiously to see if anyone HAS heard anything. I'm supposed to be studying for my pharmacology exam and I can't even focus I'm so nervous! I've kind of put all of my eggs in one basket here... This is the only school I've applied to! If I don't get in, I'll be crushed. I was so confident until a few days ago too... Now I'm starting to doubt myself. I hate waiting! Good luck everyone! I'm going to check Blackboard for the 10th time in an hour and see if I see anything. Night! =)

LOL ur funny why are u worried you're probably fine...what am i saying?!!! WE ALL ARE. I put all my eggs in one basket too I feel like the blackboard thing ISN'T going to happen because we want it to lol, that's life. Good luck we will alllllllll be here with you on this ride. :)

Haha. You're sweet. I think it's so nerve-racking because I've literally planned my life out for the next 2 years (and beyond) all based on this one little decision. I'd hate to think all this work and money up to this point was for nothing. Most schools require different prerequisites, so it would cost even more money and waste my credits to have to apply somewhere else. I guess it just makes me nervous knowing it's out of my hands now... =) Here's hoping we wake up to good news! Night!

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know when we'll be able to sign up for classes? Registration for everyone else started 2 days ago, but all the nursing classes require permission. Will there be some kind of code we have to put in? Or will they just give our individual accounts access when they're ready?
