any accelerated BSN programs for highschool grads?

The reason accelerated BSN programs are for college graduates is that they can bypass taking any of the normal BS requirements (Like humanities requirements). They have already taken them.

You will probably not find more programs accelerated for a high school graduate, as it will be difficult for you to fufill 4 years of requirements in 14 months..

I'm very interested in pursuing a career in nursing and i cant wait to finish school. does anyone know any other colleges/universities with this program? the only one i've come across is massachusets college of pharmacy and health sciences and i cant seem to find anymore. it seems like all accelerated BSN/MSN are for college graduates

hi. well MUSC in charleston SC has an accelerated BSN and BSN-MSN program BUT you have to complete 60 hours of prerequisites at the College of Charleston or Trident Technical College (a community college). basically by doing the prerequisites and then the accelerated BSN you'd have a BSN in 3 years instead of 4...which is probably as quick as you can get a BSN...if a program was any shorter i doubt you could really lean everything you needed. also the BSN-MSN you could have your MSN in 4 years instead of 5. MUSC is where i'm going it's a great school.

PS also there is Excelsior College online...someone i know is doing that one. she says it's pretty fast but i really don't know anything about it but you might want to check it out.

I know what it is like to be a teenager and feel like you must hurry hurry and get it done. But realistically, you would not benefit from a quickie program even if there was one out there. Knowing now what I didn't realize then, if I could have my teenage years back I would graduate high school (ENJOY that last year, take the summer off and have a vacation!) and then find a vo-tech where I could complete an LPN program in a year.

(I know that most of the kids at your school (and probably even the teachers and counselors) are probably talking like the lower level kids will go to the vo-tech while the brighter and more motivated students will go to college. This is the worst disservice these adults are doing to high school kids these days and is absolutely NOT TRUE!) Then, I would get a job as an LPN, probably part-time, in a nursing home so I could have better than minimum wage income while I worked my way through college. Then you work your way through.

Take it from someone who has been there. If I could do it all over again I would not try to rush it. No matter how motivated you are it is easy to get in over your head an end up discouraged.

Excelsior College is a bridge program for people who are LPN's, paramedics or respiratory therapists. Under certain circumstances, they will allow you to enroll if you have completed half of a traditional RN program.
