I am finishing my prereqs and was told by another student that microbiology is not an AAS requirement only for a BS, is this correct or is she misinformed?

Hi, berni10312!
The only place you are going to find the answer to your question is in the college catalog of the nursing school where you are planning on going. The nursing school you end up going to ultimately will tell you what pre-requisites are required of you in order to get into, or graduate, from their nursing program.

Welcome! Daytonite is correct....check with your school, I have seen both. If you are going to get your BSN it's a good idea to take it, or to expand your options of applying to different schools, if those schools may require it.

I am getting my AAS and it is not a pre-requisite but it is a co-requisite. I agree with the others that you will need to check your catalog.
