I have come to terms with not getting accepted for the fall ( I have not gotten any letters yet - but I have a feeling). My next goal is to finish up a couple of pre-reqs.
Is it totally crazy to take Micro online and Chem at my local CC? I simply cannot get into the Micro class at my CC so I have to take it online.
I will also be taking another algebra class at my local CC as well to try to boost my grade from C+ to at least a B.
So 3 classes and I will be working full-time as well. I think I can do it. At this rate I really do not have any choice.

It's good to have a plan B but don't give up yet...and don't stretch yourself to thin! Good luck!

I'm curious if you don't think you got in, what's the rush? That sounds like a lot! I did take Chemistry & Health Science (which is anatomy/microbiology) at the same time, and that was tough . . . so along with Algebra, yeah, I'd be worried! Oh yeah, and I don't work! I'm just afraid your grades may suffer. I guess give it your best shot if you're determined to do it, but don't be afraid to withdraw if it's too much.

I just feel like I have been wasting so much time. I lost a year due to illness and now I may be pushed back another year. I guess by taking all those classes I feel like a accomplishing something. I may take the micro class online during the summer instead and then only take the chem and algebra in the fall.

Your second plan sounds more doable. I just finished up Micro along with 3 non-science classes. It was more time consuming than the others combined. Terribly interesting, though.

One thing to consider is if your school will accept an online micro class. My school required microbiology with a lab, so an online course wouldn't have worked in my case.
