I did my test on sat the 15th, I live in New York, when would I be able to get my results?

Specializes in none, still looking.

It depends on if your state participates in "quick results".

Kayla, you really have to chill out and stop this! This is like the third or fourth post on the same question.....

What day did you test? The 15th (like it says here) or the 25th (June?) like it says on another post?

If I remember correctly, you contacted Pearsonvue and found out you'd passed. Did you do that? Did you pay 7.95 by entering a credit card number on their website for quick results (in NY you can do that) and find out the results?

That's all you need now! The license will be issued when the SBON gets its act together and gets everything it needs, period. They will not give you more info over the phone. They will NOT tell you if you've passed or failed (that's what the quick results thing with Pearson is all about). They will NOT issue you an actual GRADE for the NCLEX.

You get your results from that test by 1. Paying through Pearson for the fast-track results, they are accurate, or by 2. Checking the BON website daily for your number--do a search by last name, first name like the info says, or by 3. Waiting until the actual paper license shows up in the mail.

That's it!

Edited to add: I see that you did indeed take the test on the 15th, which is only two days ago. No wonder the SBON told you nothing...it's way too soon for them to know anything about your test (you tested Saturday, it's only Monday!). Utilize the Pearson Quick Results feature. You can get your results 48 hours after you test. That's what it's for :)

HA. I just called the state board today to make sure they got all my information in file b/c I take the nclex in 10 days and I'm nervous - don't want any last minute mix ups! Can you just imagine the number of phone calls they get everyday ?! HA! I guess they too need patience!!!

Hey, I meant nothing hostile whatsoever! I have also been on this forum a long time, spending alot of time helping people through whatever anxieties they are having. I never ridiculed you.

However, after seeing several totally panicked messages (along with the ones you sent me privately) I had to conclude you were no longer reading answers but were just posting thread after thread. I was trying to STOP you from asking the same question over again, and wait until someone ANSWERED you. Actually, I answered you a number of times with the information you were looking for, but your continued posting gave no indication you were actually reading those responses...just asking yet again.

I'm sorry you're feeling so overwhelmed, truly am, but if you read anything I've posted to anybody on this forum, you'd see I'm anything but unkind! Since it is impossible in this format to grab someone by the collar and shake them to get their attention , I did the next best thing. At least I thought so. I apologize if it didn't work the way I intended.

I have given many people much support, and I was trying to do that for you, too. I guess it didn't work out, so sorry :(

By the way...DID you go to the Pearson site and get your results? They should be there by now....maybe even yesterday. I didn't see you post "I passed"; I hope you have! :)

RNs2BRwe, I was thinking this frenzied posting was as close to a true panic state as I've seen since my psych rotation. Personally, I think you handled the situation with calm and aplomb.

She did post in a different thread that she failed ....

I'm sorry that you didn't make it KAYLACRICKET, but hey, there's always the next time and hope you make it by then . My prayers are with you.
