schools in CA chemistry and anatomy pre reqs

do you know any schools that accept high school chemistry as a pre req in CA?

if not,im on the waiting for a anatomy/phy/micro course and need to take chemistry. the school east la college doesnt accept high school chemistry.

do you take intro chem, general chem, or college chemistry??

also in a trifecta course its (human anatomy 1, phys1 and micro) do you need anatomy 2, phys2 for nursing programs?

I've never seen a program that accepts high school courses in lieu of college courses. Look at the prereqs for the programs. They usually require 5 unit versions of these classes (chem, anatomy, physiology & micro). You need to fulfill those requirements. Rarely would a course that contains all 3 of those sciences be accepted.

Thanks. The reason I ask is the course that has anatomy/phys/micro are 4 semester units and spoke to a counselor at college of desert and she said that its acceptable. In the college of desert requirement, it states anatomy, phy, micro at least 4 semester units minimum. In order for me to take this class, I need a chemistry course and the college stopped acceting high school chemistry as a pre req. I suppose I would need to take the chemistry placement test? Ill have to call on Monday to get details on which chemistry because their is *intro chem* *genral chem* and *college chemistry* Intro chem pre req is elementary algebra placement test.. So I'm trying to see which entrance test is needed

Unless it was an AP chemistry class it won't count towards college credit. Also when you test out of something that generally means you already have taken the class in college or have some kind of life experience that equals the class you are taking. When I signed back up for college I had to test out of the remedial English and Math classes. I had to prove I was up to college level. It my no means meant I was testing out of those college level classes. Otherwise the fact that I took Algebra I twice in high school and Algebra II in high school should have been enough. It wasn't. I had to pass their test. If a college is telling you your high school classes are enough for prereqs I would be leary. College classes cannot compare to high school classes unless they are 0 level.
