Well it's official. I passed my first semester of nursing school. My study group and I went out and celebrated after we took our last final. Did I have any doubts? Heck yes. This is my second try after withdrawing from a different program. I didn't think it was meant for me to be a nurse and it was something I've wanted for a long time. I glad I got another chance at a much better school. The teachers were a great deal more personable and optimistic. Even though this semester has been stressful I enjoyed every moment of studying, giggling w/ friends and learning so much. Next semester starts Jan 10 and I plan on getting a head start on my readings. CONGRADULATIONS TO ALL THOSE FINISHING THEIR FIRST SEMESTER OF NURSING SCHOOL

I just passed my first semester, four more to go! Class of 2006!

Reading thru similar pots on different forums, I have come to realize that getting thru this first semester was a really a feat to behold. We stated with 57 students going into final day, and when the dust cleared we were down to 54. And all thru the various forums, others have lost classmates and friends along the way. So all of us who have been given the priveledge of coming back next semester, I applaud all of you. Because there are only a very select few who actually know what we have been thru. The late nights with very little sleep, the stress over a test, the tears of joy over passing another one, the tears of sadness when we didnt do as well as we had hoped.

To all those that passed, you all really deserve a really big CONGRATS for such an awsome accomplishment, because Lord only knows how big it was.

Enjoy the hollidays and will look forward to seeing the posts from all you second semester students. And with a little luck and lots of help from above, the ADN class of 2006 will overcome.
