online nursing programs

employers generally dont care where you go to school as long as you have passed the NCLEX and have a license....:)

Just make sure it's an accreditted school. So if you decide to get your RN you won't have trouble.

I admit; I'm biased against on-line programs. I don't like them. My litmus test to them is do physicians or lawyers have on-line programs? They don't, therefore neither should nursing.

That's just my opinion, fwiw.

I have been looking into getting my BSN online at the UOP.

Does anyone know if in the real world these degrees are accepted like a traditional BSN would?

Anyone out there that has one would comment I would appriciate it very much. Thank you

Jason - I did the BSN at UofP and yes indeed - it is accepted just like an on-ground school! In fact, I'm in the MSN program now and already people want to know when I'll be finished. Good luck...judi

I didn't even know you could get an LPN/LVN online...what school makes that possible?
