This is a funny thing that happened to me last week in Med/surg clinicals. I helped an elderly man out of bed. Then he instantly wanted to sit down in a cloth "visitors" type chair in the room. He was wearing a gown and apparently was starting to have a BM, because when he got up there was a large streak on the chair. Before I could clean it up, the Dr and another nurse came in. Well, she sat down in the chair before I could tell her. To make matters worse, nurses must wear white pants and tops. ..............I imagine I'm not her best friend.:chuckle

I can imagine that her day went pretty much down hill from there. I bet she always looks before she sits down from now on!! :chuckle

OMG! I would be horrified! That is a great story!

One time I was retrieving a sanpan from the supply closet and I came out to an older woman looking at me and smiling, I smiled back and said how are you she say sbetter now but youre gonna be pissed. She turns around and dripping down her legs was a nice trail of doodoo, needless to say I was alittle late with the pan.
