I think you mean CEUs. There are free ones on that site. I find them interesting but I personally wouldn't be willing to pay for them. I usually do them when it's time to renew my license and I haven't gotten enough CEUs through classes.

The last time I renewed, I had all my ceu's for free. It isn't so hard, a few a month and it's done. That is the first time I did it all for free. Usually, I would buy them all at once, just before renewal. The cost savings and lack of worry has made me a convert to free ceu's. Medscape also offers free ceu's. Not to mention AACN, ANA...

My employeer provides free access to nurse.com CEU...great perk. Two of their courses are required for staff in my homecare office to take. They have an excellent selection across many nursing areas.. One of the best places to obtain quality CEU. I recommended 2 courses to a colleague desiring move into Education Director position in homecare agecny--she landed position.

BTW: CEU is an old term that is not recognized by ANCC. Contact hours is more appropriate (a unit is 10 contact hours).

Nurse.com has some good stuff but some of it is weak. I think it worth the money, however, if you do not have other free alternatives. May I suggest that you look at vendor sites? People who make chest tubes, dialysis equipment, IV pumps, etc often have free CNE
