RN Refresher course for license under probation

Hello Fellow Nurses,

I could really use some help. I have a current license from California and it is under probation. I need to take an RN refresher course that is affordable and will take RN with probation. I hear they are difficult to find. I also live in Arizona and have to come back to CA to take the classes so I can not afford to be out of my current job for months. Any suggestions and knowledge about a course that the BRN will approve and that will accept my license?

Toe CA BoN probably has a list of acceptable providers. Ask them, if they don't have it on their website.

In Texas Bon, there are list of approved refresher courses.....

im sure most every states BOn, has a list of their approved refresher programs.....go to ca. bON, in their "search area" type the words ,

refresher courses" ---- you should see the courses they approve....

Unfortunately, if the probation is associated with any practice stipulations there may be a mis-match with the refresher course curriculum. For instance, if the course requires students to demonstrate effective pain management & the stips prohibit administration of narcs (not uncommon). So, I would advise OP to carefully examine the refresher course curricula in advance.

Yevette, the director at PHEs in Stamford has multi dementia like. Approved courses for most any requirement in Texas
