You can't make this stuff up

(And I could say the same thing about something practically every day at work, but especially those every-once-in-a-while really funny/crazy/weird things - but couldn't we all?).

One of my residents thought his member had shrunk and that it was due to his pull-ups. After confirming that he could urinate fine, had no pain, numbness, redness, swelling ... I assured him repeatedly that he was OK and that the pull-ups had nothing to do with it. He kept telling ME repeatedly that he wasn't going to wear them any more, and that he needed boxers! Boxers!

So I texted a co-worker telling her that pull-ups have been recalled due to the possible side effect of "hypomember".

I had one pt think that I was Hitler, so she tried to strangle me. Surprisingly strong for an 88-year-old, though somewhat lacking in visual acuity. I'm a short, chubby, blonde woman in so the resemblance to Hitler seems a bit of a stretch. Ah well. It was psych!

Boxer pull-ups would be an interesting challenge to develop...

You said "pull ups" and "member" and my first thought was, "Well, don't let him keep pulling on it!"

Well, Farawyn, if I listen to his alleged problem, he has less to pull on now, due to those dang pull-ups...

I seem to remember a Seinfeld episode that dealt with member shrinkage:

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

So he does so many pullups that he though his member was smaller in comparison to his ripped lats and biceps?

Blood volume displacement.

Love the term hypomember. Have to find a way to insert it into daily chit chat.

Let's consult a professional about that, Farawyn:

Shouldn't she have her pinky up?

Dang! Now I have to follow my own best act!

That shrinks my member more than my pull-ups ever did!
