Thinking of my school nurse peeps in CT who got hammered yesterday with tornado-like winds and damage. I know my hometown took a hit and they are out of school today. Many many trees down and power outages. Ugh. At least with the power out it is not cold... but still....

I'm good (I don't live there anymore) but still have lots of family and friends. What a mess!

I'm from CT. Lived there all my life until 3 years ago when I moved to SC. Funny enough, less than a month after I joined the FD up there we had a tornado come through our town and I was out in that mess for 12+hours. CT is strong and used to trees and wires down at this point (previous tornados, hurricanes, snow storms). Just stinks that they don't have school or power for the rest of the week. Good news is they don't have to make up the days at this point! And all my family and friends are safe!
Good to hear!
