I am thinking I may need to deworm. I have come accross many potions and recipes. I haven't felt comfortable enough to try any of them. Does anybody here know a safe and uncomplicated way to do this?
Thanks.

I think you should consult the Dr.--there are different types of worms, and they have different treatments. Call your Dr. and make an appointment...let him/her know your symptoms...and take it from there!

I agree with Kimlpn - the type of worm(s) would likely dictate the course of treatment...
If you knew where you got them (tropics, Mexico, overseas) or what kind you have that would be better....especially since you dont want to take something to kill a worm that you dont need to... (if you dont have that type of worm)
good luck - I know my BIL came back from India with some sort of parasite...icky...dont know how he treated it....

Is this a body worm or a Computer "worm"?
Had to ask, nowadays...even the computers get sick.

I am trying to deworm myself. I have been reading some articles on this. I seem to have quite a few of the symptoms they talk about. No, I have not spoken to my physician. I am not sure what her take will be on it. Anyway, I hope I have answered all the questions.
Thanks for all your responses.

The printing company I used to work for did film for ads for a self-deworming product. They had testimonials like, "Only hours after taking so and so product--I passed a twelve-inch Tapeworm!" The degree of enthusiasm and the uh, extensive fecal examination that I surmised would be necessary to accurately fix the length of a passed tapeworm used to make me wonder...
I think the makers of these things may perhaps be trying to capitalize on the fact that if you did have parasites, you might be a bit embarrassed about it. But the fact is it could and does happen to plenty of people and the best way to take care of it is to see a physician for an accurate diagnosis and drug therapy. Good luck to you.
