I work every weekend and 1 or 2 shifts during the week. Lots of my fellow students work in health care while in school Take care!

You can find something in the hospital, but if u have not been working there a long time it would be hard to get the shift that you need while in school, but you can try. right now I am working as a pharmacy tech from 8-4, that why I had to find a part time program so I am only going to school tues and thurs from 6-10 and 1 weekend a month for clinicals.Whatyou should of done is find the job first then find a school schedule that can work around your job buy a lil too late for that, but try your best to see if you can get sometjing maybe only on the weekends in the hosp, beacause I beleive the next shift in a hospital after you get out of school is the 3-11 and thats cutting it way too close you would have notime to study girl and we all know we have to study, study, study. Good luck girl I hope you do find something!

I work as a CNA for an agency. This way I can choose from week to week how much I want/can work. Typically I work on the weekends only. It's much higher pay than I could get elsewhere and I get to make my own schedule. You generally must have at least one year experience as a CNA to work for an agency though.

I am in a simlilar situation. I already have a job in assisted living 3-10 tues thru fri. I am searching for something part time that pays well because I know waking up at 7 and not gettin home until 10:30 that night is going to sit well. I know myself and studying would be the last thing on my mind when I walk through the door. I am addicted to the good pay I get with this job so I am trying to see if I can get new hours or switch hours but I know exactly how you feel. Just wanted to say good luck in finding something that works for you!!
