Work from home while in school?

I was wondering if any of you work from home (when you get time) while you are in school just to make some extra money. I've been searching and searching for something that I can do from home in my spare time (what little of it I do have) so I can make some extra money. I need something that won't cost me anything to start (since most of those are scams anyway) and also something that doesn't take up a whole lot of time. Hey, an extra $100 a month would make me happy right now :). I've tried affiliate programs like clickbank.com with no luck. Recently, I've been doing surveys but I'm making very little. Any ideas???

I do not work from home, but I have a friend who does liveops.com, and it is legit. She makes about $15/hr. She's been doing it for a good 5 years. The faster you can take calls, the more money you make. You need a separate phone line for it. You can check out their website, just wanted you to know it's one of the legitimate ones.

Good luck and if you find anything good, please post it!

I've looked into a few of those survey things too, but some of them want you to pay THEM some kind of start up fee. If anyone knows anything remotely worthwhile that doesn't require special training - even minimum wage type pay wouldn't be bad if it was just in my spare time when I had it. Thanks!

I've been working at home for the past 4 years, but I do daycare. :) It's not something I can really do in my spare time, so it'll stop once school starts.

this is something that I have thought of also (day care), but what kind of arrangements do you make in case a child develops a problem while with you?

Of course, contact phone numbers will be kept for parents etc

I send kids home if they're sick. We've never had anything serious go through and I don't generally send them packing if they just have a cold unless they're utterly miserable or have a fever.

The state requires me to keep up to date emergency cards on file.

Thanks for this! I have been looking for something, and this looks like just the thing to do.
