Why is it...

No matter how much you studied for the NCLEX, devoted yourself to zillions of computerized questions, sat in a review course, spent hours studying during nursing school...yet, you feel like you can't possibly know enough on the day before testing???

I am a nervous wreck! I found myself here...to stay away from review material. It was starting to make me feel sick to my stomach!

So this is a "hello" and "I am freaking out" post!

Hello, and I'm freaking out too :barf01:I am taking it tomorrow as well bright and early at 8am. Honestly I don't think I could ever know ALL side effects of drugs, all the drugs, or signs and symptoms of various diseases, all I seem to remember is hypercalcemia - slow like cow moo which makes hypocalcemia easier lol The others I think will be a hit or miss. I am sitting here freaking out that NCLEX will just keep giving me the questions I definitely don't know, since they then give you easier questions and I'm way better at analysis!

Yep. I'm neurotic.

Because there is an infinite amount of information to know and NOBODY knows everything!!!!:):):)

Oh, and I was totally you just a few days ago and I found out I passed (in 24 hours), so hang in there because once you pass, it is the best feeling ever to say: I'M A REGISTERED NURSE!!

Hey I know this is hard to think about right now because your nerves are shot but try to relax and do something fun for yourself tonight. It is very important to be as relaxed as possible going into the test. (I know this sounds impossible) trust me I've taken the test 3 times now. I wish you the best of luck ! Trust me though I have been through dozens of reviews and talked to tons of people and you aren't alone nobody ever feels like they know enough. Angie:up:

i am in this boat as well....i take mine on friday. i am trying to force myself to remain calm about it...especially around my kids...but the anxiety is starting to show its ugly face. i had a stomach all day today and i am being snappy with my family. i really don't mean too...but it just flows out before i realize it. i am anxious to get it over with and slay the nclex!!

lets do it everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

goodluck to all ...
