Who else is on a wait list for Fall 2014?

I applied to Hopkinsville Community College for the fall 2014. I got the grade on the PAX but the admissions office said that there were a few ties on admittance to the nursing program. I was put on the wait list. They have an admission conference on July 9th and would have a better idea if people would decline their admission. They said the latest that I would know if I would get accepted would be August 9th. I'm very upset. I found out today that I received two scholarships for Nursing school. I hope I get to use them! Do you think there is a chance I could get in?

    That's hard to tell. Seems like you are in a hard spot at the moment. There's not much you can do other than wait it out. Being on the wait list sucks because you had to hit the pause button. Good luck to you.

    That's insane to me tat you are already able to even apply for fall 2014...does your school only have fall semester start available for the nursing program? Mine is every semester...I just applied for spring but the deadline is sept 1st so I have awhile before I hear anything!

    She is actually on the waitlist for Fall 2013!!! I just now realized that it says 2014. We are applying to the same school!!

    Good luck with admissions. If you are not accepted this term around, did you have a plan B? I was an alternate when I applied to my nursing school, summer 2013. I didn't have any other plans, but now I just got accepted into a LPN program this January. hope it all works out you. :)
