Which to take?

This fall I will start my pre-reqs for nursing school. I'm trying to take all of the "extras" such as english 1 and 2, microbiology, etc. these next 2 semesters so I can concentrate fully on the nursing classes when i start actual nursing school in fall of 08. Which should I take first....medical terminology or dosage calculation? Or does it really matter? Thanks for any advice!!!

Well, it really doesn't matter that much which one you take first. Take in consideration your study time with the math in dosage calculation though. You know how math is-- practice, practice, practice. With medical terminology it's a matter of memorization. Hope this helps.

if you're choosing btwn med terminology and dosage calculation, it really doesn't matter. but! , personally i would take dosage calculation second because, pharmacology and medications and their dosages are a huge, major part of nursing, therefore i think you should take it when you're about ready to start the program. on the other hand, it really depends,on you, mayb you can remember how to calculate dosages over a long period of time. i never took a med terminology class, but i know that med terminology really isn't that extensive compared to other classes , such as dosage calculation. so you must be wondering what my advice really is and it is- dosage 2nd, !!!! good luck!!!!
