I'm a high school senior and I've been accepted to 3 different schools with pre nursing as my major. I was accepted to my dream school, Michigan State University but I know that the competition is high here and I'm not sure if I could get in to their program. I was also accepted to Eastern Michigan and Wayne State and I know every school's nursing program is pretty competitive, but these schools have less students and so maybe less students apply and I could have a better chance of getting in? I love Michigan State but I don't know if that's the best choice.

For prereqs? I'd go to a community college and save my money.

Apply to all of them and see which one accepts you into their nursing program.

You're going to be in pre-nursing, no matter if you go to MSU, Wayne State or EMU. You getting in to the BSN program at MSU is dependent upon your performance in your pre-reqs. The higher your grades, the better chance you have of getting in sooner. If MSU is your dream school and that's where you want to be, go for it. You can always transfer your pre-reqs to another school if you need to.
Or, you could do the community college route and try to transfer in to MSU, if money is an issue. There's a MACRAO agreement with the community colleges and these universities, so you can transfer your credits with no issue.
Good luck with your decision. Let us know what you decide to do :)
