Which color?

Ok, I have decided to bite the bullet and order a Littmann Classic II SE as my first stethoscope. But now I have to decide on a color! The director of the nursing program at my school said we can get any color we want, doesn't matter. I love the new caribbean blue with the rainbow finish! But I'm worried it might be TOO colorful. I also like the chocolate one with copper, and the black with brass. These two seem to have more of a classy look to them. Should I be concerned that whichever one I get might clash with whatever uniform scrubs I may have to wear in a future job? Will the rainbow one be viewed as not as professional? Help!!!! Any advice and/or opinions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Cassie

I just received my Classic II SE in Ceil Blue and I love it. It's a silvery blue, very pretty color. The Caribbean Blue w/ rainbow seems very popular from what I saw in older threads. Its so touch to decide when you can't compare them side by side, in person.

Do you know where you're ordering from?

If you're gonna spend all that money on a Littman, you should get the color you want!! :-)

And whatever you do, DON'T leave it in your car on hot days...found that out the hard way with the first stethoscope I bought! Luckily it was the cheapo one my program had us buy...I'm now the proud owner of a purple Littman Cardiology III.

Also- Check out allheart.com or google reddingmedical, they have better deals than what I've seen in stores.

I like all of your choices. The cheapest place I have found them is http://www.medisave.net, I sved quite a bit through them and their customer service is AWESOME!!

I'd get the blue with rainbow finish. It will stand out and if someone decides to be stupid and steal it, it will be easy to spot. :)

And definitely get it engraved!! Not only is it a nice sentimental touch, but you can prove it's yours!!
