DME = durable medical equipment. There is a vent class given by LifeCare Solutions in Pasadena. It costs $25. Another one, I believe, is given by one of the hospitals downtown, not sure, but it may be Cedars-Sinai. Check the staff education link on the various hospital websites and you can find it.

I remember finding one listed at one of the hospitals. I just checked Cedars and Children's, not at either of these places.

Looked at Good Sam. They have classes listed, but not the vent class. Seems that this is the one where I found it quite some time back. Guess they aren't offering a vent class anymore.

im from san diego and i took me a long time to find a good place where to get ventilator certified and the only place i found was americanheartclasses.com they have pretty good group deals  mike was really nice and didnt mind answering all my questions regarding prices and things like that, the class was given by paul who didnt even leave a single doubt in my head! really good instructor :yeah:
