When you are going to clinicals

Some people share rides, but most just drive themselves to the facility.

Our school is really big on making carpool lists since parking within our hospital system is very limited. Some people do still drive themselves, but it depends on which one of the hospitals they are assigned to - a couple of them have limits on how many student cars are allowed in the lots at a given time.

I start actual class in August, but no hospital experiences until October.

My school has a seven county surrounding area that it's possible to use during that time. I won't know where I'm going to go yet. I hope it's not too far. I will be commuting by myself for awhile, maybe carpooling once I meet other students. Especially with gas prices the way they are:(

We usually drive ourselves, or some people carpool. There was a group that got stuck going an hour and a half away and they were able to take a school van together.
