I really hope this drug works on Alzheimers. That is one thing I wouldn't want to happen to me when I'm old.

It'll be years before this comes to the US. They'd have to inject it directly into the CSF for the drug to get to the brain...not all that easy to do.

This actually is in the US,CCM. Apparently they inject it into the neck then tip the patient head downward so that the drug reaches the brain.

Oh..I thought the article said the research was based in the UK. Where ever it is, let's hope it works and isn't too expensive for most people to access.

Diabetes and dementia. My two worst nightmares.
