What if

What if you're not accepted into your nursing program, what are some other things you would wanna do in life? Just wondering

Well I originally wanted to be a firefighter. But my father went out of his way to convince me not to be. He even set up a meeting with a firefighter to tell me I had pretty much close to no chance to become a firefighter. And also considering I'm very petite it was most likely not obtainable. I was very discouraged but decided to become a nurse. Happy I made that decision but if I didn't get into a nursing program I probably would have continued my firefighting dream.

I would have looked in becoming a psychologist for sure.

Freelance photographer taking pics for travel agencies.

At the time I would probably have chosen music therapy. I'm a classically trained musician and actually started college as a music major. My first ever jobs were 1) on staff at a Lutheran church as their organist and 2) freelancing for weddings and such. I'd also taken the CNA course my senior year of HS and had been working on my breaks for college though and enjoyed the work so much while at the same time getting burnt out on music (if music is not fun anymore, why bother?) that I decided to pursue nursing.

Music therapy would have been a good use of my skills while helping people at the same time. But I was also considering employability. Nursing seemed safer.

Pharmacist back than, this day and age perhaps health information management.
