I am curious, for those of you who are working and going to school....what is your current line of work? Also, why have you chosen nursing as a profession?

I am a Stay At Home Mom right now. My youngest will be going into all day Kindergarten in August, so I figure there is no better time than right now to change careers. Our income is finally stable enough to handle it, so I told my hubby that I was gonna go for it.

I am a massage therapist, massage therapy instructor at a local trade school, and full time student doing pre-reqs. Plus a full time single mom to a beautiful 21 month old.
I guess no one else is working right now? HMMMMM

Definitely! I'm a patient financial services representative for Banner. I go to my classes and clinicals during the week, and work on the weekends and some Fridays, and study the rest of the time. I was unhappy being a teacher, and since our income is stable and I have no children yet, it was the perfect time to go back to school.
