What is your PDA?

I am currently in a NP program and wondering what programs or software you have in your PDA? Do you use them a lot?

I have oodles of programs, however time and time again I refer to Epocretes. I have the upgraded version and it was well worth the money. A fellow allnurses member shared a coupon awhile back that made it much more affordable (50% off I think).

I do also use some freebies I downloaded such as shots from the cdc (immunization guidelines) and a bmi calculator.

Lexi Comp Pediatric Suite is the gold standard at our childrens' hospital. It covers meds, herbals, toxicology, and infectious disease, etc.

I have an iPhone - much easier than carrying a phone, pager AND PDA.

I have:

ePocrates Pro

Pedi-stat

Pedi-doser

skyscape renal dosing

skyscape NP peds recall

skyscape Peds

UpToDate

I am a new graduate and I also have an iphone. All I have right now is the free version of epocrotes. But I plan on getting the five minute clinical consult. I think it cost about $75 but I think it will be well worth the money.

If you already have phone service and ipod touch does EVERYTHING an Iphone can do except make phone calls

I have a Palm TX and along with Epocrates and Up to Date, I use Sanford Guide and Tarascon. I also have an ICD-9 code program I refer to frequently.

I have an iTouch too. I downloaded some free apps. There is a "GrowthChart" one that you can input an infant (or child)'s ht, wt, and hc, it will give you the percentile immediately. It is very convenient. I also downloaded a free "EyeChart". That one is awesome too. You can even randomize the letters so that each time you get a different eye chart for your patient. Another one that I use a lot during my clinical hours is "STAT ICD-9". I can find ICD codes pretty quickly. And most importantly, these are all free!!! Do you know any other free apps?

Gotta go with an iPhone or an iPod touch. There are some great apps out there. Love ePocrates Pro.
