What is ATI?

I feel really dumb for asking this, as I am starting nursing classes in a couple of weeks, but what exactly is ATI? I have to purchase this (and it's expensive!!!) and I have no clue what it is!!!:uhoh3:

We use it at our school too. It's a series of books with a brief explanation of all the things you will go over, sort of compacted chapters i guess you would say. It has great questions at the end of each section and it's great for studying for Nclex! It's worth it :)

My school used this program as well. Essentially its a program to help you prepare for the NCLEX. You will be taking countless tests and remediation. Does not work on IPAD, and the site fails often. It gives rational to all questions, some are pretty good, some are ... not so good. Lots of good informative videos and shorten text books via pdf. You will get frustrated by the details and differences in your texts and what stumbles out of your teachers mouths, but its really just for one test at the end. Also, you will take an ATI predictor exam at the end. It said I had a 93% chance of passing first try and I did. But the bottom line is it is designed to get you in the mind set to answer NCLEX style questions like a drone. I did this and the KAPLAN comprehensive review book and passed in 75 questions a few weeks ago. CHA CHING

It's a huge package. Pharmacology , med surge, OB, psychiatric etc are included, CDs included as well. Ati books basically summarize your textbooks, there are questions at the end of each section for you to practice. It is supposed to help you prepare for nclex. Hope this helps a little.

So essentially it is not a graded requirement for nursing programs? Not opting for the package doesn't have any bearing on your grade in the classroom and program?
