8 weeks to wait to see if I get in...

Seriously though, if you try not to think about it, the time will go faster so do whatever. Go to the park for a walk on a nice day, have lunch with friends, do whatever it is you would normally do in the summer and the weeks will fly by (I hope).

Try not to make it your life if at all possible because it will make you a wreck. I've been waiting since February and should hear any day now...Enjoy your summer and try to keep your mind off of it even though I know that is very difficult.

I have tons of stuff planned (I have 4 kids under the age of 6), but at the same time, there is a lot I have to get done if I get in... ya know?

Hang in there!! It will go faster than you think. Just keep busy, busy, busy (which won't be hard with the kids). Any chance it will come early? The acceptance letters (email) from Sac State were supposed to be sent mid-May and I received mine on May 6.

I hear you about getting stuff done! I should really make a list of all the stuff I want to finish up this summer so I'll be organized when I start NS in September.

Congratulations!!!! The latest it will come will be August 1st or something like that. Off chance it could get here sooner, but then they didn't get our NET results to us before they thought they would, they were actually a few days later.

I am done with school as of tonight... Got A's on both my finals. So glad I am done until Sept.

Congrats on your great grades! It feels good to be done for awhile, doesn't it? I've been out for a couple of weeks now and it's been nice to be able to think about something other than school.

We never want the summer to go fast, but I know in your case your praying that August comes tomorrow with an acceptance letter in your mailbox!

I found out a week or so ago that I begin fall '08, and I can't wait for classes and clinicals to begin:D!

Thanks! I decided to work on losing a few pounds so I don't look like a big white marshmallow WHEN I start.

As exciting as starting the program will be... I am as nervous as hell[o] when I think of starting!

Well, I know what you mean about getting a workout program, and losing weight. I have put on a few as I have been working in the business office as a work study, too much sittin' around, and comfort eating:p at the end of the semester!

You will have to let us all know when you get your letter!

I have to get boosters done, my chicken pox titers checked, and complete orientation, then I am done til August when I get my books, and uniforms! We start (I think) August 25th.

I do have a good suggestion for you on how to pass your time while waiting! Rent all of the movies you have missed out on watching that you weren't able to see while in school! I have seen about 5 in the last few days (I have Netflix), and will be cramming in as many as I can before school starts again!
