Stars hope the fix for the car proves easy

Tweety hope you find the keys

Ado I know the feeling with regards to work

Hi Dianah

Yesterday unfortunately was again aggravating at work. Not any one thing but multiple smaller things...another new case received, a medical records company stonewalling me, an insurance adjuster asking a case of mine could have a new case manager that's "more aggressive", whatever that means, and a day that was a lot busier than expected. Felt tired and down much of the day. Though thankfully I did not have to do anything for the side project today and got to close some cases

After work was pretty normal. Did the grocery shopping and exercised. Knee seems better, increased the resistance on the exercise bike and the knee handled it fine, with little soreness

Today should be pretty ordinary. Only thing out of the ordinary will that I will get the opera ticket for October. Also have to reflect on work, there have been long standing issues with this job despite being good in many ways, and I have to decide if this is sustainable or not

Slightly cooler today, in the mid 80s

Good morning!

Joe, I hope you have a better day today.

Ado, I hate listening to complaints which is part of my job. Many of them I can't do anything about like an MRI taking too long, or a doctor not rounding early enough. A good deal of complaints is patient's not getting their pain meds on time or in a timely manner. Patient's have such high expectations and so many can't tolerate the tiniest of inconvenience.

Dianah, I hope the RV is an easy fix.

Although this is only day two on the BP med, today's reading is 138/77. First time below 140/80's in a while. I will try not to obsess over it.

The key ordeal and the nap threw off my day yesterday but I did manage to clean the bathrooms, grocery shop and get a load of laundry done. Today I need to mop and cook. I need to mow but will wait until the weekend.

My financial advisor says it's time for my annual review to see if I can retire. In the past the answer has always been yes to my timeline of January 2028, but no to any time earlier unless I cut back. We also have to plan that I might live to past 90 like both of my parents. The way work is going I might just cut back and be more frugal. There are some things I can cut back but I'm already close to my tolerable low and I have to remodel my kitchen before I retire so squash that idea.

8 AM and time to get up and dressed and take care of getting the car packed. This will probably be the last post for a while, until I get my new WiFi provider set up down in Florida.

Will be getting a later start than I had planned, and will have to leave some more stuff behind, but it is what it is.

Up and at 'em. Stars!

Safe travels, Stars!

Safe travels, No Stars, and I hope we "see" you here real soon!

Safe travels, Stars!

I just got home from the dentist. I was happy to get in to see the hygienist who usually cleans my teeth. She wanted to know about our Alaska cruise, and she told me about her garden. I worked a couple of hours at the demo garden before that. I need to finish up the newsletter today, call my sister to wish her a happy birthday, and pull a few weeds. And I need to contact a couple of doctor offices, which I am putting off. My sister's cardiologist office called yesterday to make an in-person follow up appointment after her cardioversion, and we went round and round as to whether it could be a tele visit. Then he called me back, to say she didn't need to be seen until October, and that could be a tele visit. Huh?

I went with dh to the plant diagnostic clinic yesterday ostensibly to show him how to turn on the microscope , but I spent the time with my computer balanced on my lap while he visited with all the staff in the office. I would rather have been at home with good wifi. When we finally got home, I fell asleep sitting upright on the couch. So that why I need to finish the newsletter and weed today.
