Stars glad you will get a break from her today

Tweety glad you mom wasn't hurt in her fall

Hi Ado

Yesterday was a pretty slow day at work.  Helped out a coworker at the end of the day.  After work did the grocery shopping and got a new inner tube for my bike, had been planned to replace a flat for a while

Today should be pretty ordinary at work, apart from having to work on the side project.  After work planning to do some exercise and some more cleaning

Will be warmer today, in the mid 60s

Huh! Whaddya know! The teeth I got called to the dentist's office for are the ones to be checked for fit and any rough spots or whatever. The tech told me something to the effect that they would send these new temps back and if no adjustments are required, they will send the permanent set, in about two weeks. Well, these feel so good and fit so well, I didn't want to go back to wearing the old set, which I could tell were worn down now that I have this newer set in. Seems to me like everything about them is almost perfect, and I say 'almost' because they aren't natural teeth.  But I told the tech, "I'd like to take these home with me today, like keep them in and wear them now!" The tech talked with the dentist and he said that was okay if that's what I wanted to do, and they will call me when the permanent ones arrive at their office. These are whiter than my old set, but not blindingly so, and follow the shape and setting of my original (homegrown?) teeth. Like, not perfectly straight, and not crooked, but they look like mine used to when I was younger and they were not all to he!!.  So, I am happy about that!

I didn't get to sleep late today and I can feel it; I am still TIRED! Since I am not a napper, I will be up until I can get the Nannie-person in bed at 9 PM, instead of 10 PM. Don't know what time her Ortho doc appt will be today. I guess I'd better find out if I have to go pick her up at the usual time or if SiL will be returning her home after her appt. ----------So, I sent SiL a text and she texted back that Nannie's appt was very early this AM and she is at daycare as usual; so I have to go get her in about 3+ hours. (bleh/meh)

I am eating a Cobb salad for breakfast/lunch, and I guess I will boop around on line and see what the new news is. (I did already find out that tRUMP didn't smash Iran to smithereens, anyway.)

BYEEEEEEE!

Hello all!

I read through this thread (no, not addicted, really!  REALLY!  No, really!) every day, just don't always comment.  ?  Slept poorly last night, will relax today.  Not much going on here.  Temps are in the high 80's, but rain is predicted this weekend.

Have a good day!

The on-line Trivia Question of the Day was about Ross Perot. All I could think of was that Hubby and his coworkers (truck drivers, AND the county's Sheriff's Deputies he also worked with) referred to him as "Little Rossi Pee Rot".

Not sure if this message will be approved, but I'm taking a chance, because it was pretty funny at the time.

If not approved, OH WELL! I hope somebody gets a smile out of it!

Good evening.

Couldn't get my act together today at work it was so busy.  Night shift charge had to take a full assignment so I didn't have to do floor report which was good because I didn't know anything.  LOL.  Tomorrow I will have a full assignment as we are short two nurses.

Bleh.

I am plumb tuckered out. I spent 4 hours at the demo garden, then rushed home to wash up, grab a slice of toast for lunch, then off to landscape design class. Then home to feed the dogs, check my email, then off to have dinner with the 2 eldest kids and grandsons. Now home, and I am about to crawl into bed at 8:55.

It was a lovely sunny day, in the midst of 60s, same tomorrow. Pollen counts are high, many people are sneezing and coughing. I've been taking double doses of Claritin, nasal steroids, and started antihistamine eye drops. WILL NOT GET SICK!

I really have to get the taxes filed tomorrow. But I am too tired to think. And I need to go to bed before dh gives me anymore emails to write. My brain is mush.
