I think the info will just keep coming one step at a time. I submitted my blue card since I already had it! Alvin was so much more organized - once you get in there they send you ALL THE STEPS so you can work through the list. Oh well!

They accept 30 per cycle and have on average 120 applicants

How long did it take your blue card to come in??

I can't remember! Maybe 4-6 weeks?

Thanks yall! I have a 90 overall on the TEAS and a 3.5 gpa with all of the extra classes dobÄ™ as well. Hopefully I have a good chance!

Good morning everyone, I also was accepted into the program; I live in sugar land area as well. If anyone wants to carpool I am also down for that my email is [email protected]. And yes it has been a long road and the BSN schools are highly competitive to get into. I was denied to 2 schools for spring admission and I am still waiting on letters to come in for the fall admission.

Over all GPA: 3.75

Does anyone know what the nursing school schedule is like?

All they've said is "plan on 8-4 M-F."

I'm excited for school but at the same time frustrated with the lack of info. Alvin gives SO MUCH INFO! It's really nice! And once you're accepted there you get an email listing EVERY STEP you need to take before school starts. So you can go through the background checks, etc at your own pace as long as you do it on time. I feel like WCJC is really just giving out as little info as possible.

I am trying to plan a summer trip and literally cannot book yet bc they don't have the orientation date! Every week ticket prices are going up and now it's looking like we may not be able to afford the trip after all because of this

But oh well - hopefully I'll be a nurse in 2 years and will be able to take a bomb vacation!
