Nursing Students School Programs

Just got my acceptance yesterday! Anyone else here starting at WCJC in fall?

Congrats! I was accepted as well and am like 95% sure I'll be accepting! Where do you live? I'm in Sugar Land.

I'm in Sugar Land/ Missouri City also! Not thrilled about the commute but it shouldn't be too bad! I emailed to confirm my acceptance! I guess we'll be getting more details soon?

Yes, the commute shouldn't be too bad and I'm hoping clinical placements will be in Sugar Land/Katy. I am hoping to find a carpool group at orientation or once classes start!

Hopefully. Orientation is closer to when school starts so I know we get a lot of info then. As far as background checks and stuff, hopefully they will email soon. I have a lot of that done bc I started the steps for a different program.

I know they do a lot of clinicals with Oakbend right off of 59. Car pool would be awesome! Let me know if you hear anything else! My name is Shelby btw

I'm Sarah :) Hopefully some more people will get on here, but I never see much WCJC activity on this site.

PS I just accepted my spot

IDK how to connect other than here. If you want, email me and we can exchange info. [email protected]

Would any If you be willing to share your TEAS scores, gpa, etc? I just applied for spring 2018 and im freaking out! Haha :) I just want to get an idea of where I stand

I was accepted as well!!! literally a dream come true. I wonder when we will be getting the follow-up email...

86 overall on the TEAS, 3.11 GPA overall (I have a BA in sociology), 2.76 pre reqs and 2.95 science. I have all of my BSN requirements as well.

Tsessoms14 I started a Facebook group - see if you can find it! Search "WCJC ADN Fall 2017 Start" and request to join! Post here if you don't see it.

I don't know my overall - I took TEAS twice to up my science. I ended up with 76 science, 100 math, and in the 90s for reading and english. GPA was probably like 3.8? I had A's in all the sciences and I have a BA. I don't have any of the classes required as prereqs for the BSN though, which they consider as well. I don't feel like it's super competitive but I'm not sure how many applicants they had. I also wonder if the spring start is more popular bc of the Sugar Land location being more central...
