wcccd spring 09

How depressing this news is. This was my second time reapplying. I had a 3.52. I am retaking PSY 101 now. Well I guess I'll transfer to WSU next semester because I can't waste anymore time @ WCCCD.

hey sillyrabbit just got my sad letter:cry: 3.7 was the cutoff, getting ready to pick up my app. and i'm reapplying for the fall 09. i'm taking A&P over that i got a B in. lol

Ok I just got my sad letter too. Oh well... Does anyone know when we apply for Fall of 09?

Hey guys, I attended an application meeting on September 15th. The application deadlines have changed for Fall 09. The deadline for Fall 09 admission is February 16 or 26. The meeting on the 26th is @ 1-330. With the new changes it doesn't even allow time to retake classes unless we are taking them now. There is just no preaks with this school. So diappointing to have all A's and B's in everthing and that's still not good enough. I just so upset right now. I have to vent! This has set my life back a whole year now I'm just stuck and don't know what will happen next! Good Luck to everyone and I hope all works out well.

I am very dissappointed with WCCCD too. I am taking Chem right now so I can get on HFCC's wait list in Dec. At least I will be garaunteed a spot eventually. I have spent too much money retaking classes to make myself a good candidate for wcccd and it's still not up to their standards. I am proud of my gpa and I know how hard I worked for it. I have given wcccd too much of my money already and refuse to give them anymore by retaking classes there.

I hear you. I too am proud of my GPA. I have busted my BUTT to get good grades in every nursing class required for WCCCD. While working fulltime and taking care of a child. I refuse to give them another penny. I have been at this school since the spring of 05 and have not accomplished anything. There's no way I am going to spend another 15 week semester @ WCCCD for a grade that's not promised. I have tired everything. This is crazy and to think about the money I have spent this far is sicking. Good Luck with HFCC it might turn out to be a better choice.

Just to let you know I got on the wait list at HFCC last December, and I just got my letter I start in January. So it doesn't take that long and while waiting I started taking a few classes for my BA. Good luck.

Mrs. N told me the deadline for fall 09 is sometime around may or june, because we went over my whole application and she suggested what classes 2 retake and to come 2 the info. meeting in june, so although i know it is frustrating as hell there is still time 2 retake classes for fall 09 this jan. (i know, who would want 2) but i'm gonna give it another go. she said 4 the fall of 09, they r not just going solely based on gpa as they have previously done but rather or if u have taken all of your prereq's with them and past med. exp. so they'll be on a point system.

Lunden do you know if we can use everything in our application for Fall or do we have to redo some stuff? Did she tell you when the info meetings are? You're right it is VERY frustrating. But everything happens for a reason I guess! Did she tell you to retake A and P 2?

and i def. understand all of your frustrations. i was looking forward 2 meeting sillyrabbit and melissa777 and all the rest of wcccd who post on this site. so it really sucks bad. i gotta tell a lot of people what the hell happened after i done already took 4 classes over!! i too feel as though i've gotten nothing accomplished. i thank God that i do have a decent job right now and that i recently became certified or i would be facing losing my job. right now i'm just gonna study for the NET and take take these 3 classes over this jan. get A's n them and reapply for fall 09. let's all still keep n touch:nuke:
