Wake Tech Spring 2017 Start

Anyone submitting an application to the nursing program at WTCC this upcoming July for spring 2017? Wanted to connect with others who may be in my shoes. I'm still working on some prerequisites (TEAS and CNA) but hope to finish them up by May. I will be transferring most of my prerequisites in from another school.

Thanks ladies! And yes no points are listed in the letter! The letter just says when orientation is and mentions the changes that will happen in the future if you decide to decline your seat (i.e 40 hours vs 200 patient contact hours, SOC 210 instead of BIO 155 etc). I had 188 points. I do not live super close to main campus. Maybe 30-45 minutes away. I am very close to the Health Science Campus (about 15 minutes). I got it in the mail!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have yourself a Blast this Weekend!

Thank you so much! I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders! I just completed the background check!

I'm sorry! Mail room, not Library. I was at work when I typed that. Also, Ms.Watkins emailed me and was going to allow it because I don't trust Raleigh USPS.

If people would have known they could just pick their letters up then there would probably be a stampede on campus. Even I was hesitant in mentioning it and "leaking" the info because I know Ms.Watkins is a busy woman... Especially responding to constant emails. Sorry! I know anxiety is at an all-time high but you lads and gents can wait a measly few more days :)

CN_2bRN919 Yaay! congratulations!! I knew you will get in! If you don't mind me asking, what is the 1st letter of your last name? It was mentioned here that the letters are sent alphabetically right? It's totally fine if you can't disclose though. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I'm sure everyone in here feels the same!

CN_2BRN919, are you able to login on webadvisor and navigate the program evaluation? Also, my profile link is gone. I have been trying to login for hours and I'm just wondering if I'm the only 1 experiencing it. This has never happened before.

bGo26, my anxiety is out of control! I don't live in the area, so I'm sure I'll get my letter probably Thursday or Friday.

WSMom, CNA, I heard the same thing about last names.

WSMom, CNA, thank you! I was talking with advising earlier today and to me it seemed as though they sent out most letters at the same time. I know in the past it was done alphabetically but I had not heard rumor that it would be done like that again this cycle. My last name starts with an M. Unless they split the alphabet in half, since my last name is towards the middle.

Laila34, I just went on WebAdvisor and it looks totally different. Half of the link options I had before are not displayed. Not sure if they are revamping it and we just caught it in the middle. I don't even have an option for "program evaluation" anymore.

Thank you for checking for me!!

Ironically, my last name starts with an M but I'm also in a different county. 7 days til the 23rd but hopefully before then!! COMMENCE THE WAIT!!! :roflmao:

CN_2BRN919, When is orientation..October 7th?? When are all other requirements such as immunizations, CPR, and the physical due..November 11th??

Laila34, orientation is 10/6 so I'll have to take the day off from work. Clinical requirements are due 11/21. Luckily the only thing I have to complete is the physicial which I scheduled for early November back in the spring.

CN_2bRN919 oh, ok. I pray that all of us here on this thread gets in. I will be on the look out for the mailman tomorrow and next week. Oh gosh, this is not good:barf02:. Is that normal for them to not include the points on the letter? When I got the rejection letter last year, the points range were mentioned. hmm.

Laila34 I checked web adviser too around 6pm and its completely different when you click on the links. They took a lot of links out too. Yesterday I was thinking of printing out a copy of my program evaluation, but forgot about it. Wish I did. I hope they bring that link back.
