:)Hi all, I'm new to all of this. Since I was 11 years old, I always wanted to be a nurse. Long story short, my dad told me I wouldn't make it. And stupid me..... I believed him. Now I'm in my thirties and I wanna go for my dream. I'm married and a mommy of two lilttle ones. So I have to be very wise about what moves I make; in order to make this dream come true. So my questions are:
what are the benefits of shadowing a nurse?
Is shadowing something done for just a few hours or a day?
Will I really get the real feel for nursing in just one day of shadowing?
What do volunteers do? Cause I wouldn't want the nurses to feel like I'm in their way. I'm thinking about volunteering in my local hospital.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and for any advice given. :)
