Visa Screen: Licanse Validation

CGFNS received my passing score from FL-BON and now I got the following information standing in my online CGFNS-account

LICENSE VALIDATION FORM

Your license has been received and a premilinary review has occurred by a CGFNS License Specialist.

RECEIVED BUT NOT REVIEWED

does somebody know how long it's gonna take?

and after everything is accepted, what are the next steps?

I'm thankful for every help I can get

It can take one week, up to a few weeks, or more. There is no strict time table. Is this for the Visa Screen Certificate? On average, it will take about four months for you to receive it, after they have verified your passing score on either NCLEX or CGFNS exams, and the English exams, if they are not waived.

Some have received it earlier, but most have averaged around the four months time. If you figure on that, and you receive it earlier, then consider it a present. :wink2:

Not sure where you are located right now, but if in the US, it can be just a few weeks after you have completed your exams. It also depends on when you submitted the application. If you just did it at the same time that you took NCLEX, then it will definitely be on the longer time since they still have to do a verification of your education, etc.

I always encourage everyone to submit the application at the same time that they apply to a BON for licensure.

I have sent my visa screen application at the same time I have sent all the other CGFNS-applications (way before the NCLEX)

My parents are located in FL and that's where all the correspondence is sent to

I passed the CGFNS EXAM July 13th, I am taking IELTS 12th Nov. My initial license(From my home country) expired on 19th August, Do I have to ask my licencing board to send the renewed information to CGFNS? Considering that I passed the exam requirements before the expiration of my license, I think the renewed information is no more necessary. Plese advise me.
