So, my first offical night at work as an RN. when i came in, things were not done, i ran around like i never worked on this floor before, much less in nursing...what the heck? it started out so bad, i have a killer HA. its 1849, i am here til 2330 at least, and hopefully it gets better. just a shock to be on my own i guess. i dunno.

thanks everyone!

It happens...that's why I always try to have my orders signed off, fluids running, and everything taken care of before the next shift comes in. It happens...gl though, hopefully it'll slow down a little for ya!

Yes, things are sometimes left a mess. This makes it much harder ESPECIALLY when you are just starting on your own.

I have been a nurse for just over 1 year now and am FINALLY starting to feel comfortable/organized...

No more working that 30 min for free...lol (the "lunch" I never found time to take)

Hang in there...some days are better than others.
