so whos met with the financial aide counselor. I did and luckily enough with pell and loan my financial aide coverd 90% of my tuition. only have to come out of pocket about 2,000$ which isn't bad. Did any one else meet with the counselor

Hi everyone. I think I'm starting the process a bit late but that's how life goes sometimes. I am going to Veeb tomorrow to register for the June 9 test bc I've been out of school for a very, very long time and I wanted to take the math review class. I just found out about Veeb and honestly I want to give it a go bc I e been searching for a job for over a year that would allow my daughter and I to survive in this challenging life and it's been exhausting. My husband passed away last year and it's been very difficult to say the least in a myriad of ways including financially. I just want a real profession which will enable us to stand on our own two feet and make my daughter proud. Very nervous about the test. Is there any algebra like graphs, slopes and finding the area of a rectangle and semi circle? Lol I don't even know how to call certain math that I'm seeing in the GED prep book but haven't used in in years - thanks for any suggestions and advice and I hope so much to make it and see you all in September!!! Oh, is anyone else applying or just starting the process just now like me?

Hi KitKat2018: I am taking the test on.the 9th as well. I went to the school last week and put money down to take the test. What they told me was the math is fractions(adding, subtracting, multiply and divide) There are percentage questions. She said no algebra but I am going to brush up on a bit. I was thinking of taking the review class also. I watch a lot of videos on you tube it really helps. You can do this!!! Stay strong!! Best of luck

Hi there. Thank you so much for your reply and the encouragement. I need it!!!! I went to the school last week too just to check it out but I paid for the June 9 test today. Yes, going to go on YouTube and review. I hope we all do well and get in!! And I hope to meet you on June 9. I have so many questions but don't want to get ahead of myself just yet. For now just trying hard to Stay positive and be patient. Thank you so much!

I did this in 2007 and graduated from VEEB in 2008! It was wonderful. I went to VEEB FOR FREE, graduated in August passed my boards the end of September and started working the following week!!! You should do it.
