Akanini you couldn't have said it better. I just took mine yesterday and I've been outof school for a while....but either way you never want to underestimate things in life especially like you say if you only get one shot at it. My personal experience is that prior to taking it I was really nervous not so much about the work but about the time limit. In the end for me I felt that if you work fast enough, you can have some time left to check over the ones that may have been a bit more difficult. The Reading comprehension, yes if English is not your first language you need to prepare a bit and hopefully have enough time to review before the test is over. With preparedness and knowledge everything is easy. But when you don't know something you need to study and not underestimate. I hope I did well and that my fellow test takers did well. I will find out this week I was told. Yikes!! Thanks for all the info you share its really helpful!!

Hi sswinner thanks for the info and the offer. Is it that you're an upcoming student but also a phlebotomist? I'm here to learn so I will definitely take you up on the offer if the opportunity arises. I don't know...some say you don't do phlebtomy bc LPN's are not allowed to draw blood? I may be mistaken - it's all new to me. I'm a past (past as in my license expired) CNA - when my husband got sick And before it getting bad I was inspired to take the class Bc I wanted to help him any way that I could. I did well but I worked privately for 2 years once a week. I was in a situation where I couldn't really commit to working in a nursing home so on the experience front - not much. Hoping to become an LPN now! I have to get in first though. Hope to be receiving good news soon.

Hi there. Yes!!! Today was the last day of testing! I was one of the test takers!!!!! I don't think I'll be able to sleep until I get the pass or fail letter. Glad it's over but now nervous and anxious about the grades. It's in God's hands now. :-)

Ok gonna try hard. Thanks for letting me know. They don't really tell you much. This may sound like a stupid question but do they teach phlebotomy? And do we have to take the TEAS for LPN's? Thanks!

Hi everyone. I think I'm starting the process a bit late but that's how life goes sometimes. I am going to Veeb tomorrow to register for the June 9 test bc I've been out of school for a very, very long time and I wanted to take the math review class. I just found out about Veeb and honestly I want to give it a go bc I e been searching for a job for over a year that would allow my daughter and I to survive in this challenging life and it's been exhausting. My husband passed away last year and it's been very difficult to say the least in a myriad of ways including financially. I just want a real profession which will enable us to stand on our own two feet and make my daughter proud. Very nervous about the test. Is there any algebra like graphs, slopes and finding the area of a rectangle and semi circle? Lol I don't even know how to call certain math that I'm seeing in the GED prep book but haven't used in in years - thanks for any suggestions and advice and I hope so much to make it and see you all in September!!! Oh, is anyone else applying or just starting the process just now like me?
