Veeb 2018-2019

Hello ladies, hope everyone is having a happy new year and is working towards accomplishing goals. I was wondering if anyone plans on attending the LPN program at Veeb this year. I'm taking the entrance examination the 20th of January. I'm so anxious abt school tht I've already applied for financial aid. Is anyone else excited? Any advice from students tht are still attending? Upon graduating how much can a new lpn earn in the first yr?

Fighting!! When life throws curveballs..... Run. Those things hurt. Get in however you can. I didn't have original bc. Cost me a pretty penny and took me 4 weeks but I'm in now.

And if my dumba$$ can get in you can too!!

Amen to that!

I accidentally lost the paper for the the physical but remember the date time and location of my appointment . What it said on the front the drug screen flu **** physical and what else ? . Also, I know right I'm only 19 so my Expected family contribution was 0 hopefully by September my dad will help me get a car to make the commute from east Harlem better

Wow congrats!! Luck you lol, it covered half of mine! I already met with the counselor and waiting do the physical

Thanks !! I can't wait to start I meant what else it said on the front I know it said flu vaccine , drug screen , physica and quantiferon blood test and what else ? I can't believe I misplaced the paper

Hi everyone. I think I'm starting the process a bit late but that's how life goes sometimes. I am going to Veeb tomorrow to register for the June 9 test bc I've been out of school for a very, very long time and I wanted to take the math review class. I just found out about Veeb and honestly I want to give it a go bc I e been searching for a job for over a year that would allow my daughter and I to survive in this challenging life and it's been exhausting. My husband passed away last year and it's been very difficult to say the least in a myriad of ways including financially. I just want a real profession which will enable us to stand on our own two feet and make my daughter proud. Very nervous about the test. Is there any algebra like graphs, slopes and finding the area of a rectangle and semi circle? Lol I don't even know how to call certain math that I'm seeing in the GED prep book but haven't used in in years - thanks for any suggestions and advice and I hope so much to make it and see you all in September!!! Oh, is anyone else applying or just starting the process just now like me?

Hello! The test mostly had fractions(adding, subtracting and multiplying etc), absolute value, finding percentages, simplifying expressions, look up algebra review on youtube and look at a couple videos! Trust me I'm not good at math and I did okay so you'll be fine! Good luck to you!

I wish I could upload a pic of it lol but you covered everything. And also you need to get your blood titres(measles, mumps rubella and varicella) tdap, hepatitis vaccines, and chest xray is ppd is postive! Make sure you have all those things covered before the date of the physical or you'll have to pay for it!

My efc was also 0, that's a far commute!!!

Yep, unfortunately I have to take loans out to cover the rest of it.

That's not bad, if you were driving there that would be a huge headache with traffic lol I
